A Glimpse Of Jaipur

Jaipur, also known as the pink city of India is a historical city of the country. Jaipur is a very beautiful city with many places to visit. Jaipur is mixture of ancient rajasthani architecture plus modernization. The city has many attractions Monuments, Temples, Gardens, Museum. This city is well known for its fairs and fests that are held like kite festival, camel festival, teej, gangaur, elephant festival, etc.

One of the five Jantar Mantar is present in Jaipur. Jantar mantar in Jaipur is the largest of all the five Jantar mantar is the ancient laboratories built for astrology. The place is filled with scientific instruments and architecture.


Near to Jantar Mantar is City Palace. City Palace is situated in the centre of the city. The Palace has great architecture with every things designed in Mughal style. The Palace is surrounded by the pink city and palace itself has the same shade of colour.

Birla Temple is another architectural landmark of Jaipur. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. The temple is built with pure white marbles and surrounded by beautiful garden. The Temple has detailed art work in the walls.

The Amer fort is situated in the hills few kilometers away from the city in Amber. Amer Fort is very beautiful from inside and has many things to see. Amer fort is very huge fort with some creative architecture. It has these buildings ‘Diwan-i-Aam’, the ‘Sheesh Mahal’ and even the ‘Sukh Mahal’ inside it. The Fort is situated on a height, so the view from here is mesmerizing.


Jaipur is also famous for its big markets. There are many things you will get here only like handicraft work, rajasthani turbans, textiles, rajasthani dresses, etc. Famous markets in Jaipur are Bapu bazaar, Nehru Bazaar, Johari bazaar, and many more.
