The visual appeal of a person has always been a major indicator of the mind and nature of a person. ‘For the apparel oft proclaims the man’ is a remarkable dialogue from the Shakespeare’s renowned play Hamlet. And of course, the larger than life celebrities from movies or music often have a huge following and their costumes have become a massive trend among the followers just like we have listed a few of them below. We present to you three latest celebrity looks which might inspire your dressing from now on.
Alia Bhatt in Kapoor & Sons
Talk about latest fashion and Alia Bhatt strikes first. The celebrity may only be a few movies old but has set some serious fashion goals in a short time. Her movie Kapoor & Sons gained a huge popularity and as usual, Ms. Bhatt was charming and all chic throughout the movie. Her semi-bohemian to smart casuals perfectly defines the girl next door.
The outfits were basic but styled in a smart way to make every garment versatile. And it wouldn’t be wrong to say that Alia has got that personality where she can pull off any outfit from formals to traditional lehengas to summer bikinis.
Beyoncé in Hymn for the Weekend
We tried hard but when we saw Beyoncé in Coldplay’s latest music video Hymn for the Weekend, we couldn’t resist but include Queen Bey in this Bollywood oriented list. The elaborate maroon gown embellished in gold with a cape was designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
Also, the bangles, the headpiece, the necklace and every bit of Beyoncé is astonishing and dazzling. It gives a hint of Aishwarya from the movie Jodha Akbar, where a woman is shown all poised and composed, wearing the adornments as armours. Even the eye make-up and bold pout is so attractive and- it’s Beyoncé, and we are awe-struck.
Kareena Kapoor Khan in Ki&Ka
Moving on towards Kareena, she has never disappointed us with her fashion sense. Her wardrobe in Ki&Ka was as simple and minimal but also gave a sense of power dressing at the same time. A balanced mix of corporate, chic, casual and traditional was played throughout the movie.
The bright bottoms were paired with dark corporate blouses and the ethnic salwar suits were also colourful. She looked smart in the no make-up look with a tight high pony. It was a grown-up look, very classy and sophisticated.
It is ironical how Bollywood’s interpretation of modern Indian women dressed in Western outfits differ from Beyoncé in Coldplay’s music video based on India. The Indian women have left the traditional veils but it seems like the foreigners are still admiring it.
