41 Years of David Beckham

David Robert Joseph Beckham, certainly needs no introduction. The life he has lived can only be a fantasy, with no possibility of turning real but as it is said where there is a will there is a way. One of the most celebrated sportsperson and celebrity of 21st Century, David Beckham.

In 1992, he started his career as a professional  footballer with one of the most celebrated teams in European football, Manchester United, and soon became a part of the glorious Class of ’92 under the guidance of Sir Alex Fegurson along with Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs,  Nicky Butt, Phil and Gary Neville. He won 6 Premiere League, 2 F.A. Cup, 2 Community Shield and ’98 UEFA Champions League.

In 2003, Beckham scored the most famous free kick against Greece which gave him a transfer to the biggest club of Europe and the European Champions, Real Madrid. Along with Luis Figo, Ronaldo de Lima, Zidane, Roberto Carlos and Raul he created the most feared group of Los Glacticos. He won 1 La Liga and his only regret was not wining Champions League. In 2007, he departed to MLS in America with L.A. Galaxy which included 5-year loan tenure with Italian Giants A.C. Milan when he joined Ronaldinho, Pirlo, Dida, Gattuso, Schevenko, Maldini. Though he did not win any title but he was fan favourite. In America, he won a few trophies and finished his club career with France his last stop, where he joined best club of France, Paris St. Germain. He won the League 1 along with them and retired leaving tears in the eyes of his fans and the whole world in 2013 at the age of 38.


He played for England in his international tenure and also led the team as the captain but never won the World Cup. He was the captain of the team for 58 games before finally passing the armband to Chelsea Captain John Terry.


His personal life is also as celebrated as his sports life. He married Victoria Beckham in 1999 and has 4 kids, 3 sons and 1 daughter. All the boys followed his footsteps and joined different academies. Apparently, they all have gained his charm. From living as a tenant in Manchester for 200£ to being the owner of the Beckingham Palace, one of the most costliest estate in whole country, his life has always been happening. He became the UNICEF Ambassador in 2012 and also the ambassador for the World Cup and the Olympics. David Beckham celebrated his 41st birthday on the 2nd of May, 2016, as the World’s most Sexiest Person alive.
