Ola To Launch Ola Rooms

“We want to know the dream features that you’d want in your #OlaRooms! Every suggestion matters :)”, Tweeted OLA (aka Ola Cabs) today. Ola has come up with an innovative concept which has never been practiced in India before. Ola plans to launch ‘Ola Rooms’, a completely new service which enables one to enjoy a comfortable stay at night in a cab. The cab would serve as a hotel room right on the road, all over the country. Ola, on its website, quoted, “Every Ola room comes with the choice of many views – literally any view you can get to! Whether it’s sea-facing, city-facing, sun-facing or traffic-facing, you can select the view of your choice with every room.”

It also assures a front-desk manager, house-keeping attendant and an in-room service assistant all summed up in one, the driver. A representative for Ola also talked about the company’s plans of redesigning their cabs in order to convert them into comfortable chambers for the customers.

But the constant fuzz about ‘Ola Air’ leaves the public in dilemma about the certainty of the announcement about the Ola Rooms. Ola Air, which promised the customers to be able to book choppers for distant destinations at a minimal rate of Rs.499 per hour, seems to be a forgotten thought by now. The company’s website had declared it long back and yet there is no updated information regarding the matter.

Despite all the odds, Ola Rooms seem to be a really attractive concept for people who enjoy travelling. The rooms will be available at a very economical rate of Rs.249 per night. Details about Ola Rooms would be available on the Oyo Rooms application. The rooms are known to be going live by 5.00 pm on the Ola app. The rooms also take in-room dining to another level with the perk of making a selection across the city. With this grand revelation, the company focuses on providing the customers with a convenient room right at the doorstep.
