Bohemia?? Its All About Being Unique

With my end semester approaching and after a not so amazing viva, I thought of pampering myself and went to brand new restaurant in GK-1 called BOHEMIA (dragged my best friend along too). And boy oh boy, what a place and that to such a refreshing, bright colorful flowery place!

It has been only a few months since this place has been established and I have been meaning to go there for a very long time. It has two levels and on the second level they have an open area. The décor at Bohemia is done in very bright colors and it is inspired mostly by flowers, be it the wall, seat cover or even the roof, but on the second level of this restaurant you will find a pure white roof.(curtains, décor, floor etc.)

Apart from this they have light music being played at just the right volume. I really found the music very catchy. Bohemia also has Rhapsody every Wednesday and Sundowners on every Sunday from 4-9 pm.
So, coming to what all we had, for starter we ordered Tapas tasting plate vegetarian followed by Chargrilled mushrooms in blue cheese sauce and in beverages we decided on Americano and cold pressed Pink mocktail. Our waiter was polite and had the knowledge about the preparation of the dishes, but I don’t understand, how the hell he got that thick Italian accent!

Talking about food and drinks at Bohemia, they have a quite extensive menu filled with choices varying from mix of Italian, Mediterranean, Tapas, Grills and a slow cooked menu.Although nothing new is provided they have played very safely over here, but their drinks menu is good.
Coming back to what we ordered, the presentation of the food was very good, everything was beautifully arranged and they had a lot of different types of sauce to complement it with. Everything tasted amazingly great.

The Tapas tasting plate included Tzatziki, tahini, babaganoush, hummus, taboulleh, crispy filled olives, falafel, filled mushrooms, zucchini fritters, parsley crusted cottage cheese & Greek pickle served with warm pita bread.

Everything was fresh, crispy and cooked to perfection, the same goes for the Chargrilled mushrooms.

Coffee wasn’t that good it could have been so much better (that was a disappointment for me), but other than that I couldn’t complain about anything at Bohemia.

I would definitely go there again and try their non-veg dishes.
I would definitely recommend this place, it is a must visit place, although not easy on the pocket, Bohemia is not very heavy on the pocket either.(we paid Rs. 1970/-)
PS – They give complementary breads (fresh and delicious)
